Ultimate Avengers vs New Ultimates issue three…

…was actually pretty good. The action set-pieces are thrilling in true Millar fashion and I personally haven’t experienced that in a while (Marvel-wise of course). Leinil’s drawings are still sharp as ever, but I still don’t think he can capture Bryan Hitch’s “widescreen” scope or format properly when comparing it to The Ultimates 1 & 2… though that could just be me.

The ending on the other hand (particularly the spread at the end)–  ‘dunno, it seems odd I guess if not questionable. Maybe reading the latest issue of Ultimate Spider-Man will expound on it a little more.
